In view of the breed's complex character, we encourage new owners of Australian Cattle Dogs to enrol their dog in a Puppy School. As of 12 weeks old, up until the age of 5 months, this activity allows puppies to learn how to play gently with others, and to build confidence through their discovery of a park with various obstacles. Puppy School helps to socialise dogs and favours the development of a stable and balanced character.
